Every FLACS release is denoted by a version number and a release number, for example v10.4r2 for version 10.4, release 2. This article describes two methods on how to find the exact version of FLACS you are using.

In the FLACS RunManager, CASD or Flowvis, select Help and choose the About FLACS RunManager/ CASD/ Flowvis (depending on which program you are in).

Version and release number in the README file

On a Windows computer: Start a file explorer, open the folder Program Files\GexCon\FLACS_vXY.Z. Click on the README file. You will find the full version number at the top of this file.

Linux: On Linux, FLACS is typically installed under /usr/local; type
>/usr/local/GexCon/FLACS_vXY.Z/README-flacs-vXY.txt
XY.Z denotes the version number of the FLACS release (e.g. 10.5) and XY only includes the two first digits of the version number (e.g. 10)
